NEW OverDrive Search Improvements - 27-JULY-2015

At OverDrive, we’re dedicated to continually improving our APIs. In light of that, we’re making architectural enhancements to our Search API, which will improve both performance and reliability.

Here’s the best part: Because most of these are back-end changes, you may not need to make any updates to your implementation. But, here are two (more visible) changes to consider:

You’ll no longer get search results for items that aren’t owned by a digital collection (i.e., isOwnedByCollection=False). However, the Metadata and Availability APIs will continue to support isOwnedByCollection.
You’ll no longer be able to sort by price (i.e., sort=price:asc or :desc).

These changes will go live on 27-JULY-2015.
