2025-JUL-02 - The New OverDrive Developer Portal Is Now Live

Dear OverDrive API partner, 

The OverDrive Developer Portal has been updated with a new design, refreshed documentation, improved navigation, and more. 

On the Developer Portal, you’ll find new and updated documentation, including: 

• A glossary of OverDrive terms that you’ll see in the APIs 

• Details about OverDrive-specific concepts, such as formats, lending models, and Advantage accounts 

• Style guides with branding guidelines for Libby and Sora 

As a reminder, the new Developer Portal does not use developer accounts. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact support.
